  3. i have a isuzu 42 Liverpool 2008 boat, and for the second time in 8 months i have bent the propeller on something below the water line. there was no big bang just a sound of wood hitting the blade. could this be a sign of a bad designed or thin propeller, or just bad luck. i have straightened the best i can, the last one cost £800 to replace. your thoughts please. Colin

  15. Thanks very much for your help. The 4107 cost £2500 to be reconditioned and runs like a pig blowing out diesel onto the water and blue smoke and sounds like a bag of spanners.
  16. Can anyone tell how diesel can find its way into a recondition perkins engine sump. The lift and fuel pump have both been changed.
  17. Hi All. I have just read about a water proof primer from tool station at £25 per 5 litres also a black antifoul for the top coat. I am going to paint the hull. I think the paint is by Flag. I don’t want to use Bitchaman on the hull, as it comes off so quick. Does anyone have any thoughts? Colin
  18. Thanks all, looks like i have some investigating to do.

I normally load my van up the night before I drive to the boat so I can get away before the traffic starts, but just lately my alarm wont work so I have to load up on the day which means I get away late. If I move the van away from my house the alarm works properly and sometimes it woks on my drive to. Has anyone got any ideas. Thanks Colin
