  1. Is the Marina considered as a residential mooring ?
  2. Thank you Tracy In case I start the activity I want to follow all the rules in order to avoid anxiety and issues as you said . Just one question: If I pay for a static business licence and a mooring , can I move around now and then on a continuous cruising for personal holidays ? As I wanted to rent the boat out occasionally , maybe on Airbnb , can I pay for a leisure mooring or it has to be residential ? thank you very much for your help !
  3. Thank you so much for your reply it’s very useful . I have a few questions : 1-Do you know if they will fine ( and the amount of the fine ) you if you don’t have a static licence ? 2-Do you know if it’s possible to rent it out on a continuous cruising ? 3- do you know how to get the safety scheme certificate , the gas safety certificate ( in a continuous cruising )? How much they cost? thank you in advance for your help
  4. Hello all I hope this finds you well . I was thinking to rent out my boat occasionally . Or to rent out just a share . Is there a legal way to avoid doing the business licence ? In which cases you do not need a business licence ? Thank you in advance for your help !
  5. Yes Richard if I will buy the boat... however, i am concerned about the coniuos cruising as well, because I read in the canal & river trust guidance that every two weeks you have to move at lest 10 km.. is it true? However, a HUGE thank you to everybody...for me it's all quite new , and before buying this boat, I would love to understand things better...
  6. Hello all , I hope everything is fine... I just wanted to know: in a countinue cruising do you have to move every 2 weeks right? How many km do you have to move ? (E.g. 5 km...etc) Also, if I will sell the boat and I will move outside the UK and I won't be able to move it every two weeks , is it possible to park the boat on the canal for free without paying a fee? ..it isn't specified in the canal and river trust website... THANK YOU in adavance for your help...

    sockets

Hi Lyra , thank you for your help. I dont't have a shore supply as the boat isn't moored. Is it possible to create the sockets from the mains supply in the cabin? I have solar panels on the roof of the boat....is the energy supplied also from them? I am not able for the moment to have the mooring for my boat so I would love to find a differnt oprtion to supply energy for the sockets... let me know, a huge thank you...

    sockets

Hi there, this is Illia and I am thinking to buy a boat. Today I visited a boat on sale but I noticed that there were just USB connections and no sockets at all in the boat. Is it possible to have sockets as well? What do I need? Thank you in adavance for your help, have a nice evening!
