  1. Thanks. Our problem is that a few of us have booked our holidays based on the incoming tide at 5.00am.
  2. Has anyone tried to book Limehouse Lock lately. Apparently C&RT only operate the lock during office hours. We used to book a 5.00 am jaunt but the only time we have been given is 3.30 in the afternoon. We’ve always tried to avoid the busy period with river busses etc. 5.00 in the morning was perfect. It still says on C&RT’s website that t you can book it 24 hrs in advance for a 5.00 trip but if you try and book it, it’s a different story.
  3. I think that means it’s available in 12 or 24v. A thermo 90 is too powerful for my usage.
  4. Because I can get a 24v version.
  5. Butler Technik got back to me and they can get a 12v kit modded to 24v. Panic over. Thanks for your help.
  6. I couldn’t find them. I’m waiting for a response from Butler Tecnics
  7. I’ve been told that I shouldn’t get one that is too powerful for my use. Maybe on a wide beam a 9-10kw heater would be ok. I know Old Son said that his was ok but I’d rather not take the risk. I did state that it’s a new build narrowboat in my post.
  8. Neither of which is appropriate for my boat. Thanks anyway.
  9. I’ve got 560 ah lifepo4 batteries if it makes any difference.
  10. Looking for a central heating boiler for my newbuild narrowboat. Can’t seem to make my mind up. My system is 24v. Boat is 65’. I’ve been looking at the webasto evo kit but can’t find a 24v model. Any advice is welcome. Thanks
  11. Yes. I’ve got it on my existing boat and it steers very well in reverse
  12. I’ve had my boat built by XR&D. Can’t recommend them enough. Honest blokes, not afraid to tell me when I’m being stupid and always gave sound advice.
  13. This post cannot be displayed because it is in a forum which requires at least 10 posts to view.
  14. Good afternoon. What are the best way to monitor tank levels in waste and water tanks. I’m looking at something that will be compatible with a Cerbo gx, if it’s possible. Thanks in advance.
