    Mine took nearly two hours, lots of explaining what was happening manometer test takes about 10 minutes,very thorough,I wouldn't have it any other way,this is the second time I have used this examiner,I have seen other examiners off other boats in 30 minutes!!!???

    Being as the B.S.S.,like an M.O.T.Is only valid on the day,perhaps get an examiner to give the boat a once over,could be money well spent,and if the seller objects,it may be time to walk away????

    Just looked it up,it was Seals Direct,Frost Auto Restorations also do it???? Plenty of other suppliers on fleabay,helpful enojugh?????

    I used closed cell foam tape,no leaks after 7 years,have a scout round for suppliers ,I think mine was 10mms wide by 6mms deep.Stick to window surround,it's self adhesive,then screw in using the opposite screw technique to ensure it pulls down evenly.???

    I have the same Windows and from what I can see there is no easy way without removing the whole window. if the problem is algae, maybe a weak solution of patio/fence cleaner in a spray bottle followed by a good dousing with clean hot water may shift it. I clean out the channels every year about this time and poke out the drain holes and then flush with hot water,seems to keep them fairly clean,hope this helps.???

    Plenty of equivalent types of battery on fleabay,much cheaper than manufacturers , never had a problem ,just make sure you run them fully down and recharge them every 6 months.???

    Best advice so far! I was thinking about starting a forum for mongrel boats,like my own,that nobody has a clue who built it,how old it is,are there that many on the waterways?

    It's on the towpath side opposite the `marina`,blue with a magnolia top, cratch and stern covers,skull on the tiller arm!??
