  1. Honestly.... I have the stern mooring line on, the other mooring lines off, full chat in reverse and the bow isn't coming out! Must be a hell of a cross wind in this marina Richard Are you available for Team Tawny Owl BCN Challenge crew?
  2. How did you do so well on the BCN Challenge without knowing that!
  3. I say - we no longer nurn people in this country!

    Dipstick possibly

You might be in luck @Roxylass. I had a search the other day and found only simple door. Yesterday, I stumbled across this: It's a brand new two cylinder crankcase door, it would need dressing up because it is a machined casting only. No studs, oil filler (or blank), fuel pump guide or threaded oil filter tube I don't know if I have the internal oil pipes for the filter, I do have a blanking plate Richard
  5. There are hours of fun there, 3D for instance: https://maps.nls.uk/geo/explore/3d/#distance=4385&tilt=1.27&heading=0.4990&lat=53.12810&lon=-4.12114&layers=6&exag=1 Richard

  8. I'm not convinced by that, there are plenty of pan tiled roofs in the UK, I believe they were imported from Holland as ballast. That might suggest an east coast location Otherwise the telegraph post behind the house and the small shed with stovepipe chimneypot looks very UK Richard

Are you sure? You fear the virus, fear the four people on the next boat, fear people in the marina who cannot wash their hands properly and are planning to run away and hide It would be very normal to be afraid, especially if you have a breathing disorder God knows, I'm pretty fit and I'm scared by this situation Richard

Be very careful what you choose to do. Should you already have the virus and need to call 999, will an ambulance be able to get to you - let alone in time. I think your understandable fear is likely to put you at far greater risk. From your first post, you seem to have about enough supplies to hide for around two weeks - you'll be looking for food, diesel and loo roll at the peak of the infection Richard

Anyway - more to the point, It seems to me that rather than being selfish, you are actually bloody scared. Which is far more understandable I'm finding the whole situation incredibly weird just at the moment Richard

And, should you already happen to have the virus, and it causes you to need to be hospitalised - what then? Richard
  13. Good luck finding those Richard
  14. Oh dear - it all depends Genuine Lister ones can be almost anything nowadays, I have just had to swap a pair in an SR3 because they didn't install properly. I fitted an identical pair and they were fine - genuine Lister, same manufacturer If you are lucky, we will have old stock bearing shells, otherwise it's pot luck Richard
  15. Disarranged my grandads again. They'll come and haunt you
  16. Let me check so I can be certain, I'm pretty sure that the extension is bolted on and located with a dowel. The drive gear in the Lister Blackstone box is something like that and usually comes off with a little strategic hammering Let me see if I can find a gear so you can see what's on the back of the flange Richard
  17. Tap it on the side at the end Richard

  19. Yeah - no rattling from behind the drivers seat That has also improved since the pump was replaced with one that doesn't use points. Now the most likely reason for not starting is because the six gallon tank is empty Richard
