I'm about to touch up the paintwork on my boat and need to replace the old leftover tins of paint I inherited. They are in plain tins but labelled "Masons P-type" in different colours. Craftmaster have 2 of the colours listed (thankfully including the main one) but "Renault Blue" with no code remains a mystery. Craftmaster have offered to colour match but looking at the residue in the tin it will be difficult to send a sample. Has anyone heard of this colour please?
I've attempted to wax my boat for the first time using Craftmaster "Carnauba Wax". I've discovered it to be a polish not a wax - as has been discussed on here previously colour comes off on my cloth. Its done a sterling job on the plain areas, but I can't use it over painted detail as the white lettering would end up looking blueish.
Looking for a product that is definitely wax only please?
Hi all. I'm Jackie. This is my first post but I've been stalking the forum and accumulating knowledge for a while.
After many narrowboat holidays we've finally gone and bought our own. Proud owners of a '97 Ledgard built cruiser stern - you seem to quite like them on here
We are newbies to owning a boat so please forgive all inane questions I post from hereon in.
Not for living on (yet) but planning on lots of weekends and spontaneous weeks cruising. First outing tomorrow. Very excited!
