Hi. We have been looking to buy a project boat and found the Narrowboat we wanted at Goytre Marina. The condition of purchase was that we moved it off the canal, as it wasn’t suitable for this waterway. The owner apparently moved to Wales, bringing his boat with him, not realising he would be unable to use it until he’d had it put into the water!! The problem seemed to be the depth of the Brecon and Monmouth canal as the narrowboat kept bottoming out and getting stuck ?.

Hi all We have just purchased our first boat. It is on Brecon Monmouthshire Canal and we’re struggling to get quotes to have it lifted out and transported to our mooring in Northamptonshire. It’s a 58ft Narrowboat, please, can anyone advise or help me out with recommendations as to who to use? Thank you Leigh ?
