General budget for a decent narrowboat these days.

The problem is that the world has gone mad and prices are only going one way and that’s up.! I suspect in a year or so time prices will crash when the people who bought a boat because couldn’t go abroad this last 18 months decide boating is for them and sell up. I am after a bigger boat and am going to wait as I definitely think the market will crash once foreign holidays and restrictions are lifted. -
I have been looking as well on the Ashby, no joy with the few places I have contacted. My boat only 24ft, no rush will keep looking.

Mancetter marina on the Coventry canal isn’t far from Atherstone station, and Nuneaton station is only a few miles away.

I have been a walk round the new marina at Mancetter and it’s very impressive and well laid out, I am new to all this and am going to be mooring at Mancetter as it’s so close to where I live. From memory it’s been dug out for many years as I have walked past it often when out dog walking. It officially opened on 12 th October looking forward to getting my little boat there and moored up
