Costs at Lime farm Marina, Rugby 65ppl for domestic 105ppl for propulsion

Quite disapointed with the early closure but, I saw three tents disappear before 10.30am!! So it was to be expected. We left a day early and luckerly locked with another of the day boats. I think I saw Alwick (sorry may be spelt incorrectly) at Watford Locks. Cold and miserable trip back to Braunston, we left the boat at Wharf House last night.. We were hit quite badly in Braunston Tunnel by a boat from Calcutt which I have since been told that if you see 'Andrew' stay well clear!!!! The did not slow down at all, I expect the boat behind us had problems too! We now need to touch up. The locky at Watford told us. three things in life are true, your born , you die and it always rains at Crick Boat Show Hopefully will get chance to meet some people next year. I was on the Lime Farm Marina day boat, bright green and yellow. Sarah

I think it is forcast wet again for tomorrow. We got rained off today with the free boat tips, so decided to have a walk around in the afternoon instead. Looked on a couple of boats, we picked the ones that were worth looking at, which is not many (only my opinion).Quite impressed with the boat with the disabled access. If anyone does go tomorrow check out the free trips it will be warm (we have the heating on) and dry in our boat. Sarah

I can recommend the day boat at Lime Farm Marina. Fitted out lovely and also has blown air heating if the weather is a little cool. Tea, coffee and milk provided. We had a great day out, you can choose from two routes. www.limefarmmarina.co.uk
