Hello everyone,
I'm doing some renovations to my narrowboat this summer and found a leaking shower, as a result, we've had to rip up all the floorboards and treat the rush on the bilge. It's all been straight forward until we've reached the back cabin as this is where our black tank, alde comfort boiler and calorifier all live. We need to dissconnect them and then reconnect after we've treated and painted underneath. We're pretty confident with disconnecting the black tank, it's just the boiler and calorifier are a little more complicated.
We are counting on getting a professional in to reinstall them, but is it the sort of thing that should be uninstalled by a registered gas engineer in the first place?
Any advice would be much appreciated!
Thanks
