Hi all, last Saturday my gearbox output shaft broke, its a yanmar engine with a kanzaki gear box anyone got any advice on where to find a reasonably priced replacement????
Hi all, here hoping everyone is surviving bloody covid. Quick question I need 8 new windows for my 36ft springer as the originals are shot. I have refurbed them but they are still really leaky. I have seen plastic pvc windows, similar to household double glazed units and these are alot cheaper than hoppers that are single glazed. Any thoughts/experience with these please looking for a bit of advice really.
oh this was the measurement all the way down, I measured in 3 places from water level to water level, so the draft should be halved so 1.15mtrs is in the water its has a V shaped hull
HI you wonderful people, I have a 36ft springer (so has a keel) boat which I have just had replated. I am looking to put the floor down but am wondering about ballast. Currently there is nothing on the boat but obviously its been replated so heavier. It now weighs 7 tonnes. I intend putting a wood burner, cooker, shower etc and also have to line it out. Its currently in the water any idea how I work out what if any ballast I need?
Thank you I will do exactly that can I just but the one i posted earlier then, £229 and suits my needs
