Not seen a small boat with the extra, short guard rail on the bow.
Is not Aber a big boat?

I've heard that some people have a boat 70 feet or so long, but live in only about ten feet of it. Surely this can't be true?
Yep, what's wrong with that? It's a nice ten feet.

OMG, yet another boat based on a large Northwich - not. These boats look as if they were built by people who had heard about these mythical craft but had not actually see one.
I have a 200 year old book about animals of the know world and it is obvious that the person illustrating the book has not seen some of the subjects in the flesh as it were.
I feel sorry for the people who really believe that they have paid out for an accurate replica of an historic hull shape.
The only thing that I can see that it has in common with a large Northwich is that it is built in steel and floats; are there any other points that I might have missed?

That was my thought as well.

1969 isn't that a little late?

In the ad for Fir it says that it is tax exempt but what does that mean? No VAT on the sale price or something else?

I've never seen this picture before, where is it from?

Have you considered an alternative? We bought one that just sticks to the inside of a window and it's surprisingly good. All over the country it gets good reception, except when we turn on the indoor led light tubes.
Only have 1 small porthole so not really a goer. Thanks

I'll looking for a magnetic aerial for a Ruark r1 radio with a F type fitting. I want to put the aerial on the roof, cable through the mushroom vent and plug in the back of the radio. What are your thoughts on where to buy and what to buy?
Cheers.

Ruark R1 MKIII is a great sounding radio both DAB and FM + the battery pack to make it truly portable. Has F type aerial.
Runs on mains as well. We use one on our boat - charge the battery pack when boating and run off the battery pack when moored.

On the news this morning.
CV can only live for a few minutes on copper but up to three days on steel, plastic and stainless. Brass and bronze have high copper content!

Yep, a virus is bigger than an electron.
-
And I am dyslectic or is that dyslexic?
Virus must be bigger than an electron but viruses come in different sizes and an electron has no measurable size...?
I think.

A microbe , “is small. Really small. You just won't believe how tiny, winy, mindbogglingly small it is. I mean, you may think an Aintree Beetle is small, but that's colossal compared to the size of a microbe.

Thanks!
So where do "microbes" fit into all this? Or is "microbe" slang for something, or a term made up by advertising departments?
It's just something very very small, I mean really small, mindbogglingly small.

Can you work locks wearing one of these?
You can wear what you like on the cut, we are quite a broad church. This might be of some use during the next BCN challenge.

The major groups of microorganisms (microbes) are bacteria, archaea, fungi (yeasts and moulds), algae, protozoa, and viruses.
I hope this is of some help.
