Reminds me a lot of the older boats Rose Narrowboats used to operate.

Beacon Park Boats also have a fully electric boat now. Small and quirky, but they recon you can do a weeks hire on one charge. Not heard any real world feed back.

Agree. Great cobs and beer to. Its possible to moor much closer, almost due south of the pub just before to narrows and use an excellent path to the pub. Check out a good map or Google maps satellite view.

Check out the Mon and Brec. Cambrian Cruisers have a fleet of two berth boats with leather recliners in the saloon and comfy rattan style chairs on an extended front deck for outdoor living. Two of the boats are 7'4" which allows for a 4'6" bed. Also check out Beacon Park Boats. Some 7'6" and 8'6" boats and some with 5' beds. One with a hot tub on the front deck.

The old 'Area Boards' were split between distribution (the wires) and supply (who sends you the bill). In the case of Southern Electric, distribution became part of SSEN (Scottish snd Southern Electricity Networks) and the supply business OVO.

We had a Black Prince Duchess 4. 58ft with a lovely open plan saloon. Marine Cruisers have something similar. As Haggis says ABC do have a 49 footer and he is right Black Prince do have something similar - a 47 footer, so if you do want something shorter the choice is there.

There is only one hire base on the lowland canals and it is at Falkirk, by the wheel. It does, however, offer boats from three companies - Black Prince, ABC and Marine Cruisers. Two berth boats are available, but it is not uncommon for two people to hire a larger boat. Both times we went we had a four berth boat. It didn't cost much more and we enjoyed the extra space.

Caribbean's were 39'. 42' would be the Bahama. Looking at the window arrangement it fits with the Bahama as well.

Many modern cruise ships have their main propulsion through 360Deg pods, so don't always need thrusters as well. Although HotS is listed as having 4 x 7,400hp bow thrusters. If this was the rear of the ship then it would probably be the main propulsion (3 x 27,000hp).

As others have said there are many nice places to stop. But, seeing you ❤ Ale... Dimmingsdale may be remote, but is only 1/2 mile from the Greyhound, Lower Penn (along narrow country lanes). Enville Ale, Hobsons Town Crier plus two others. If you do get a little further Awbridge is only 1/2 mile from the Bell, Trysull (country lanes plus fields). Holden's pub with Bathams as guest. Neither are canal side, so are often overlooked by boaters, but if you are in the right place and don't mind a walk...

Info only emerging in last hour from BroadsBeat (Police) and Broads Authority. Boat being subject to CSI before being returned to owner. If any more info emerges I'll let you know, but the Police are usually limited in what they publish. BroadsBeat and BA do post some info on Twitter.

I'm not sure. The report involves Broads Authority Rangers and BroadsBeat, so I assume it never left the Broads.

The following is a copy of a post by the Broads Authority on a Broads Forum. As one contributor there pointed out that the cruiser is trailable I thought it may be worth posting here. The boat is not narrow beam, but might pop up on a river or broad canal marina.
Urgent - Stolen Vessel Reg H94 - Report To Norfolk Constabulary
Missing vessel appeal
The vessel pictured, registration mark H94, has been reported missing by its owner. It was moored near Cary's Meadow, Norwich on the River Yare.
It was last spotted on Saturday 26 February travelling on Haddiscoe Cut towards St Olave's with two people onboard. It has not been since.
It is possible that due to the nature of the vessel being slowly moved through the system that it is being taken for a 'joy ride' or has been sold on. It has been picked up on multiple CCTV cameras so if you have any photos/videos please feel free to share and report to the police.
The vessel is a Freeman 23, registration H94.
Norfolk Constabulary have issued crime reference 36/15521/22.
They ask if anyone sees the boat to call 999 and use the What 3 Words app to provide the location.

Be very careful if you are lucky enough to have 5G. The way speed tests work, the faster the connection the more data they use. Using speed tests on 5G will gobble up your allowance (unless you are unlimited) in no time.

I walked past the Bratch a few days ago and there was a second hand one for sale. Don't know how much and its probably been snapped up by now.

We also hired from them in the 1970s. I think the land became worth more as redevelopment - nice riverside appartments - than running a boat yard. I think the boats ended up with Richardsons (Stalham, Norfolk) via the Rank organisation.

As this boat has a Broads registration and appears to be photographed on the Broads you could try posting on a Broads forum, although following the above link suggests it left many years ago someone may remember it.
