64 years young, fit and active, Non smoker. Have RYA inland waterways helmsman and National Dayboat coastal waters certificates,  Well experienced, good with engines,  electrics,  plumbing etc.. 
Spent most of my life boating in some way or another, raced sailing dinghies, sailed yachts, speed boats, power boats, canal cruisers, and narrowboats.

Worked as a mechanic, diesel fitter, engineer, welder, builder, owned my own garages, moved into engineering , built test rigs for cars for major manufacturers and racing teams, tuned and prepared race Motor cycles, tuned high performance cars, eventually ended up doing electronics and writing program, and finally moved into the IT business.

I am semi retired now, work Part time as a professional Photographer and Drone Pilot, as well as a bit of IT consulting,  and what work I do tends to be at weekends, so I’m free Monday to Friday most of the time.
I’m planning to buy my own narrowboat when I fully retire in a couple of years.
