We purchased a newCollingwood boat just over two years ago from Narrowboats Ltd Wincham Wharf. We have had endless problems with it with issues such as the shower and calorifier plumbed the wrong way round, leaking roof vents, chimney not sealed properly resulting in major water ingress, floors warping, bow doors leaking, poor paint job, the list continues.
the after sales/ warranty service has been appalling , we are still waiting for fixes reported over 18 months ago. Communication is non existent the only way we communicate is via their dealer who deny any responsibility as they are " just the agents".
As we are U k citizens resident in Australia we spend four/ five months a year on our vessel, the Collingwood attitude seems to be as we are far away they can just ignore us. Not aware of UK consumer law but will be taking legal advice when we return to the UK in June.
think twice before going down the Collingwood path then think again as well. We have full documented evidence including all photos and emails, happy to share this
