  2. Actually their is a Remote Controlled Narrowboat called Tin Slug which I spotted passing through Swing Bridge No.12 in Maghull on the Leeds and Liverpool Canal. I noticed it reversed and steered itself and the enginer and rudder we're remotly operated from 50ft away by the owner. The reason why the owner Built this boat so he could operate a swing bridge single handidly. If anyone knows the swing bridge at the Running Horses between Lydiate and Maghull they would tell you the controls are on wrong side of Canal. So very handy and a very clever chap. https://twitter.com/CanalPirate/status/1159085988649623552?s=20
  3. That was CRT's decision not mine The Saturday I was due to leave I could not from Salthouse Docks so said Sunday. Storm did not start on the Sunday until I past the locks. So not through choice
  4. My first trip apart from round Salt House Docks to Marina on winter moorings was up to Maghull. In a very bad storm steering a 12ft. 6 width 60ft wide beam was fun and games and control panel is a little tricky at first to reach so traveled at a slow pace. It does not help that the Canal has not been dredged till past Litherland in recent History, hence Pride Of Sefton 2 and my Boat both had Carpet lodged round our propellers. As had to wind my self some CRT Dredging Boats. Waste Barges and Boat Cranes near Melling where canal breached.. And was stuck on the towpath bank and towed of by CRT contractors small tug. Past Melling my Journey was very smooth got to grips with the boat and felt confident enough to whack the speed up a bit (not fall) as clear run.
  5. Three are now doing a £22 a month deal with the Huawei B311 and Unlimited Data. Including GoBinge http://store.three.co.uk/view/basket/MBBD30012018T134033
  6. Now on the Leeds & Liverpool Canal on way to home mooring tomorrow.
  7. I have T&C as always there's a small print but to advertise online and shop fronts the words unlimited when its not is braking trades description act.
  8. Trading Standards would be port of call. But when i do do 1TB a month I will chase it up with them. As would have to proove by their own wording commercial use.
  9. I got there chargeable 34" maybe 32" but yes only needs to charge up while traveling for 2hrs on 240v or can be charged 12v but gives up to 8-14 hrs of viewing before it needs recharging or pugging in. Great TV but yes have to adjust quality which uses a bit more of the energy.
  10. They still can pulled to account if someone uses 1tb of data and not for commercial reasons. Back in the days of 56k dial ups some services said unlimited and were not and many got round them. as Unlimited does not mean fair use.
  11. It worked on my Huweei MIFI 4G Router even though a phone sim deal, even said in shop it would. It is totally uncapped the Unlimited Data.. Does not slow down at any time
  12. From my few months experience on a 60 x 12.6ft wide beam. Which dips at the back, part of design. It steers from the center very smoothly, you do have to factor for winds. But if you're going slowly you have time to judge you're movement and should not have much trouble. I will take it extremely slowly when I moor up on my new linear home mooring end of the Month. As Boat in front as tight space to plonk it in. I find it relaxing moving the beast about,
  13. I'm moving end of month to Maghull seems round Liverpool Area and outskirts very good service on 3
  14. Sounds like a good option. Cheers for that. I'm purchasing the fans today. So hopefully will work when I wire it all up.
  15. Probably not much different to original Fridgemaster question, I have spotted some on a certain Chandler site so probably will be a solution to my issue Yes there is some sensor on an internal circuit.
  16. To work as units wont work without them attached.
  17. What 12v fans should I use as a fridgemaster freezer 12v and fridgemaster fridge 12v only thing not supplied but required to run them both ?
  18. I just put a deposit on a 60ft mooring there for March. I will be in front of that White Narrowboat.
  19. Its either Rufford for me or Liverpool Marina as a 60ft 12.6 widebeam CRT seems to lack home moorings for this size
  20. Sadly CRT does not offer many spots for 60ft length boats few and far between, on the Leeds and Liverpool Canal. A private mooring would save me a lot of hassle.
