One more thing! I keep seeing "in London" mentioned... To be clear, We already live in London! We're wanting to move out of London and looking for a mooring anywhere West/North West of Twickenham within 50ish miles. Not interested in London moorings!

Can I ask why there seems to be so much conflict on here? Everyone using this forum obviously has their own views/opinions no matter the subject! but isn't the objective of forums like this to provide a valuable resource of information related to the subject? Don't get me wrong, a lot of the replies in this thread have provided plenty of useful info both positive and negative! (thank you) BUT, (correct me if I'm wrong) there has been an awful lot of un-helpful as well as uncalled-for replies. I am more than happy to take any criticism regarding this idea and welcome everyones views! I just find it hard to understand why some people feel the need to be less informative and more offensive with their replies.

Thanks for all the replies people! As I stated at the beginning, I am looking to live on the water in a static location and I have no interest in CC! I am trying to be sensible and secure a permanent mooring for the boat and will not be buying until I find something. I am fully aware of the potential costs and am willing to pay decent money for the right location if it comes up. All I originally asked was if anyone knew of any potential moorings, if not, thats fine, I will carry on looking an hopefully something will come up eventually. I don't need to be lectured. Thanks for the help! Looking at a 50'x10' atm. We won't be planning to move no. I did think this could be an issue I would really prefer to fine a place I can work on it while afloat but understand its going to limit my options.

Hi all. Im looking for a little help/guidance... Me and my partner are looking to buy a new sail-away wide beam next spring/summer to fit out inside then live on. We really want to secure a mooring before putting the deposit down on the boat. Obviously a residential mooring would be prefered but I'm aware that they are not that easy to come by! Could anyone on here know of any marinas/boatyards with live aboard moorings available within 50 miles West / North West of Twickenham. Thank you for any help in advance.
