Just finished reading Narrowboat by Mr Holt and after reading the conclusion at the end he talks about man becoming slaves of a scientific Techocracy in 1939 what would he think of us now ?With most of the younger generation glued to there smart phones ...and missing the point of life ..to get out and taste life and enjoy the great British country side .

After watch the foxes lads of YouTube and thinking how well made it is compared to whats on normal tv and hearing they have new boat built how much do you think they are making ??? not have a go at them if anything well done and hope they can carry on for make more shows .

We got a Webasto thermo top c and looking to set this up for frost protection or would you recommend just using a timer to bring heating twice a day for 1 hour at a time ?? Fire away ! cheers lads and lasses

Dont think any boat painter are going to be cheap ,but its a hell of a job and its not like painting your bedroom lol ,but would love feedback from someone after using a painter ..

So after reading up and watching the YouTube painting videos we started to rub down the paintwork on our 48ft boat was not long before reality soon started to kick in ........This is bloody hard work and theres a good reason a boat takes 4/6 weeks to be done correctly .. So we looking for a boat painter around Cheshire that does a first class job ?

Got a LPW3 at moment but love the sound of the slow chug chug engines ,anyone swapped there engine for the classic sound ?

So we can have semi flexible panels and solid panels pro and cons for both ....but has any one fitted both at once on a boat .?...best of both worlds ...
