  1. Probably worked on loads of NHS contracts.
  2. Of course not. And Deloitte weren't going to point out the obvious.
  3. I don't think there were 1500000 hours in 2019 24*365=8760 So this was presumably aggregated discharges from a number of sites. How many sites?
  4. At the risk of contributing to said discussion; couldn't the majority not care one way or the other?
  5. Not voting can mean that no-one is putting forward a policy (or in the case of most elections in this country) set of policies that you support. If, for example, I like one party's policies less than than another's does that mean I must vote for the ones I dislike less? In my case that would be quite hard as I often struggle to decide which is worse. I am happy to have a discussion with anyone about what I think, I'm not prepared to endorse a whole swath of policies I disagree with which is what voting amounts to imho.
  6. That's a triple negative. I have no idea whether you think help should or shouldn't be available.
  7. Whereabout was this? I was born in Loughborough and left in the mid 70s. We natives pronounce it Luffbra
  8. I _think_ the 'word' is American in origin; though why that should be so is beyond my ken: most Americans never leave their shores. Perhaps stay at home and visit local attractions was the original meaning which has since mutated to mean holiday in your own country. I make no comment on the assertion that most Brits don't go abroad for a holiday.
  9. Tower 6 was demolished July last year, you can see the gap where it once stood. This photo was taken before the next 4 went in October. Well, I can't be sure but it looks like none of the 'originals' remain.
  10. True - I had forgotten that. Unfortunately I can't be sure. Mr Google hasn't updated his aerial photography.
  11. And there was me thinking "someone has misspelt 'Calamari'" ?
  12. I'm certain I posted something last year about planning to do a cruise on the South Oxford because I was shocked and disappointed to be told it was a beer desert. But, since the pubs are closed, that doesn't matter so much - I'm just going to have to bring bottles :} Anyway, back to the less important stuff: are the visitor moorings in Oxford in normally in great demand? And where can we walk the dog in relative peace and quiet once we reach the city itself? Thanks in advance
  13. MSOA? That's quite a large number. I think about 12000 though I might be wrong. My village (7500) is aggregated with some others. There were 6 deaths between March and May if we're looking at the same interactive map from ONS.
  14. Is this the symptom self-reporting app that was being talked about on the Today programme? It's probably useful but as a hay fever sufferer I would be reporting some of those symptoms most days from April to September.
  15. That's the plan. Sometimes he announces stuff without being told and then everyone has to pretend that he was meant to say it. (world beating track and trace, anyone)?
  16. I wonder what the idiots would make of this: my former colleague whose employer is based in Co Durham and his places of work are in Leeds and Sheffield lives about 20 miles outside Inverness; he generally telecommutes but spends about 1 week in 4 in the office? Also, is the use of two words that mean different things and consequent confusion intentional or simply carelessness?
  17. I can't assess how fast someone else will travel - so default settings via Loughborough Lock.
  18. Canal Plan says 12 days (and a bit). Good luck!
