Boat is liveable but it is a project boat. External painting will be required once internal fit out will be finished (paint and design looks tacky already). Previous owner started some works but it will take long time and effort to finish it. I am not worried about aesthetics for now. I need to make it first secure, warm and comfortable the way I want it.

Hi, I am new to boating. Windows on my narrow boat will need replacing in next 1-2 years. I am looking for information if it is possible and worth to reduce number of current windows. I have 11 middle/large size windows and I could do without 2-3 windows for sure. I can't find anything on the internet hence my question. Is it something what can be done and what does it require at at what price.
