Hi! I’m cruising all the way from Devizes to London and my boat needs a blacking! I can’t really afford spend lots of money but, what is the cheapest way to get my hull blacked? Any place on the way? What sort of prices are we talking about? Thank you so much!!

Yes, it's on it's way to London ATM, arriving this Sunday/Monday maybe a bit later depending on weather conditions; I'm a bit worried as I'd like to get the BSS, licence and insurance ASAP before getting in troubble. I never had a boat before and I have no experience Apparently somwere in Bolton, owner didn't even had a lock on it and bought it as a project were he lived and fixed sruff for 18 months

No, it doesn't have a current BSS,, it's been in a private canal in manchester all this time

Hi everyone!! I recently bought a narrow boat! I have never lived in a boat and I know the boat is some kind of project! Boat will arrive to london this Sunday and I know I need to go throw a few things before spplying to get a ssfety certificate but... 1)what do I need to do to ensure the boat will pass? Shower and toilet are not installed and it has no water heater. Also, 2)how do I proof the boat is mine?? I wasnt given anything that ensures the boat is mine! 3) is there any canal were i csn keep my boat until i get everything ready? I live in lo don central. thanks a lot for your help! Hi! I've decided to buy a bostwith my brother. As you can imagine, there's hundreds ofqueetions in my head! But a few sre deiving me crazy! I've been researching a lot recently and I heard its a lot cheaper to bring a boat from Holland, but I'm still struggling to know the following things. - what kind of paperworks do I need to do before bringing the boat? (Maybe during or after if possible too?) - what are the recommendable sizes for mooring in the center? What is better (prices for canals? Rivers? Why?) -Is it worthy bringing it? -what's the price to get it delivered from amsterdam to london? Thank you so much!!
