  10. Quote from recent topic re CC oils for Isuzu "Reading the thread reminded me that I needed to buy oil for my boats eng/gbx as I had used the last of my Isuzu branded 10w40 CC on my last oil change As this is what HMI Isuzu state "must" be used in both eng/gbx I asked about for a supplier and was recommended Pennine Lubricants who manufacture, or blend if you wish "Classic Marine Oil 10W40 API CC " Pennine advised nearest supplier as Tools & Threads Ltd of Macclesfield Cost £69 for 25ltrs = £2.76 ltr Both Pennine and Tools and Threads are on the WWW - above for info as I have no involvement with either company" Regards Ray
  11. Sort of correct however the power is regulated The requirements are: the bike must have pedals that can be used to propel it the electric motor shouldn’t be able to propel the bike when it’s travelling more than 15.5mph the motor shouldn’t have a maximum power output of more than 250 watts The best are powered by Bosch and Panasonic and are in the main manufactured in Germany, they are also the most expensive but you are paying for a better product than the cheapo far east stuff that will rust/crack/fail with use however for light use stored under cover the low cost option may be fine Our Raleigh lives on the back of the boat and is still like new after four years and the battery still shows 100% Ray
  12. We have two of the recall regs and despite two calls and "we have you on the database for a courier collection" no call from the courier or collection Bit of a let down as the first contact was very good Will ring them again Ray

  14. We are due through from the Weaver to Pomona next month on route to Wigan dry dock Spoke to MSC early this morning but they have no firm info as yet as to what happened or any time scale to clear/lift the deck (200 ton) or 500 ton depending on source inspect the damage to the four towers I think it will be months not weeks so will have to put back blacking etc until the canal reopens as our boat is 12" to wide to pass through the shorter route Ray
  15. Manbat warranty The guarantee does not cover: n Sulphation n Wear and tear n Deep cycling n Overcharging n Physical damage n Incorrect application A battery claim should be returned with proof of purchase to a Manbat distributor for testing. 23. I think there have been three river closures this year on the Weaver, however the flow only increases to any degree down river of Northwich and it takes a while to happen as most of the flood comes down the Dane, C&RT control the levels with the sluces and in the two years we have moored on the Weaver there have been no issues Its a great river with good depth and width and bonus of the Lift and manned locks Ray
