What about height? i see some boat with perma to things sticking up a lot higher than others, are they OK to go under most bridges? Are there many places this boat could not go to?

Even the larger 40' p,us narrow boats would be possible to tow a short distance, if you adapt the trailer and have a tractor or even a land rover to tow it at low speeds

I love the look of the wilderness boats trail able narrow boats, are there any others that can be put on a trailer and towed home ?

What is the largest narrow boat that can fit most locks? some of the 60'ers are said to be limited in where they can go because they are too long for some locks, is this the case for 50'ers? or is 40 something foot the ideal so you can fit all the locks?

Somebody said there are decent hand or foot pump washing machines available, does anybody have a link for something like this? or what other options are there for washing machines on board that do not require a lot of power or water?
