    elsan blue

A link to the product would be useful
  3. When I was involved in running our online store we obviously tried to minimise negative reviews but never hid them. I would be very suspicious of a store with no negative reviews. In our view, negative reviews showed us be an honest company and, when we could resolve issues satisfactorily, showed good customer service. As anyone who has had dealings with customers will know, there are some very few that will not be satisfied whatever you do.
  4. Thanks for the info. I will investigate the present wiring and hopefully alter it so that the charger is not connected to the inverter output.
  5. I have a 3 position switch - shore power/off/inverter. Tho OP may have similar, perhaps hidden in his spaghetti. Curiously, my battery charger is available on inverter power. Using batteries to charge batteries!
  6. Even justl less than a mm is a lot better than the few microns of paint, unless you give it 25 coats of paint.
  7. Thanks for the replies. My thoughts are to go for regular oiling. It will be easier to maintain and, as I see it, if the oil penetrates by a mm or more then it will suffer minor knocks better than paint which would likely chip. When water gets under paint it tends to bubble the paint.
  8. Hi all. I’ve just had to buy a new ash pole - snapped the old one due to rot. I’ve had conflicting opinions as to whether it should painted, varnished or just regularly oiled. At the moment the pole is dry. Can the the experts on here give me advice, preferably from experience. TIA
  9. Is that to make sure that the chicken in the freezer is dead? Sorry, old joke.
  10. I would put a breaker or isolation switch between the solar panels and the MPPT. For what it costs it will be worth it for the convenience of being able to isolate the panels rather than covering them with blankets or the like if you need to work on the system.
  11. I use these first, followed by Brasso. https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Super-Fine-Flexible-Wet-Dry-Abrasive-Sanding-Foam-Sponge-Sand-Pad-Multi-Packs
  12. I scrapped a defunct inverter and rescued the two 12v fans, fitted into a nice box, added a switch, and they are super for cooling in hot weather and in winter shove the air around far better than the useless eco fan.
  13. Lymm is also 48hrs. The Bulls Head has great real ale at good prices, dogs allowed, but no food.
  14. Thanks for the link. I will order one and give it a go. I know it’s a bit overkill, but it’s one of those boy’s toys things innit.
  15. There are some good YouTube videos by walkers of the canal.
  16. Regarding water tank level metering using Arduino with a pressure sensor fitted into a tee in the tank outlet before the pump at very near the bottom of the tank. I think I need a 1 psi (= 2.3 feet of water depth) transducer at 5 volts, but I am struggling to find one in that range. I would look to Aralditing it into the tee. Less than a tenner + Arduino + tee = <£20. Cheaper than the MSC version. Can anyone help? TIA

    Rain!

It is on Sky Sports. I bought a 3 month Sky Sports package on Now TV for £25 pm. World Cup and ashes! Unfortunately I’ve watched a lot of replays.
  18. I’d fish the Whirlpool out and return it under the Recall. Lol
  19. New information? Such as? I am on the marina. She hasn’t moved for at least 18 months, but looks to be well maintained. Can’t say much more.
  20. Isolating valves adjacent to each appliance are a BSS requirement.
  21. I got 55p/kg in September last year for my 5 off leisure’s. Make sure they are topped up.
  22. FWIW the sun is always shining!
