My 1974 Harborough Marine Cruiser stern has an open bilge and hence is constantly wet due to rain coming in through the open bow.
I'm undertaking a refit which involves ripping out the insides including the floor to reveal the bare metal of the inside of the hull which is brown and rusty.
I was thinking of sponging the water and dampness so its dry and then applying some sort of anti rust/metal protector to the inside of the hull like Kurust before spraying U-Pol Rapter paint.
Does anybody have any ideas/tips on how best to go about this process or a different approach maybe?
Any help will be much appreciated.
Cheers
