I am going to put the grooves crossways as it's a nicer look. I'm not bothered about a trim every 4ft though. I'm more interested if mdf is a suitable material to use.
It will be rcd compliant up to the supplied stage. I know I don't need to do that and can't sell the boat for 5 years. If I were to make it rcd compliant would that need inspections.
Hi. We will be fitting out our sailaway when it is ready later this year. I don't see any problems doing the work itself as I've been a kitchen and bathroom fitter for many years and was once a registered electrician too. My question is do I need to get any of the work checked off by an inspector.
Hi. We have finally ordered our sailaway. Doing lots of research about fitting out the boat. I like the grooved ceiling idea and the sheet material is MDF. Is this a good material to use on a narrowboat.
