  1. Hi Everyone, We have just joined the forum and have to jump in straight away with a question. We've lost rear drive on our Lister LH150 gearbox. We were thinking it was the brake band, but when we opened it up we have found that there is about 1.5mm of material left and that the head has been sheared off the actuating spindle. We have also found that the driving pump gear wheel has been rubbing on the splash guard plate. This has resulted in one of the holding brackets on the splash guard being broken off and the edge has been ground away by about 3mm. We have also found wear on the clutch body from this. Is 1.5mm material on the brake band enough or should we replace while we are on replacing the spindle? What has caused the driving pump gear wheel to damage the splash plate and can we run the gearbox without the splash plate as a temporary fix?
