You don't need to go with a specialist boat mover. I had a 12ft wide cruiser brought down from Scotland for £550 (no police permit, but there had to be two drivers in the cab), I just rung some local haulage companies and found one that was going my way and could fit me in. Obviously you will still need some way of loading/ unloading. Good luck
It's 40' x 9' , and yeah I would like something a bit interesting for the engine room, but not to specialist. Preferably to be water cooled.
Did you not go for a Sabb in the end?
Hi,
What are the rough dimensions of the Sabb 2JHR, length, height , width? Im currently trying to decide what engine to put in my boat I'm on building. thanks
I also have a friend who went to a speed awareness course recently. I was told they allow you 10% plus 2 mph. So to get a fine in a 30 zone, you have to be doing at least 35mph. Just what I was told ...
That wide beam at the Grove (the white one) has been there must be 2 years now.. it did have a local mooring at one point but it just seems to live there now, right outside the crt office.... it's not the only one to use Rose Grove as a long term home.
They may have permission I don't know , but as you see, Rose Grove is a little short of space.
Hi,
I used this paint. Put 4 coats on below the water line, allowing 24 hours between coats. Then 3 days before relaunching to harden up a little.
3 years later the hull was still in remarkable good order, the boat yard were impressed with how well the hull looked.
Hi, where would I find this document? Is there any chance you could take a picture of the page(s) I need if you have them? Thanks
I removed the screw you mentioned, still no luck.
Hi again,
I'm having a go at this diesel leak today, I've undone the little bolt in the end of the shaft , but the shaft won't come out. Is there anything else I need to undo? Thanks
This is what I have now,
Are there any guide to this job?, I did find one on this forum but all the pictures had been removed thanks for help
Haha. The zip tie is not my handy work.. I'll sort these bits out after the main stuff is done.
The jubilee clip is holding the plastic pipe that feeds back to the tank, this is part of the temporary tank set up
I have read your warnings about using this screw in your previous posts, so I didn't. But after struggling today I thought I must try the top one, I was very careful with it. After it opened it released so much air!
Noted, thanks
I have no tool for measuring the compression
Hi thanks for the help, I got the engine going again after another go at bleeding it. Found a load more air in. I'm sure there are no leaks in my temporary fuel tank and pipe system. When It gets going there is a fair bit of white smoke.
