  1. So its why they removed a bin at Northwich on River Weaver then. Now rubbish always on the floor and overflowing bins.
  2. Yes I use it as a low power PC for when I need to do basic things. Also use it to scan for wifi networks using servo motors to get best signal and then repeat the signal inside the boat. I am planning to work on some sort of christmas light display for the boat using led strips when I get round to it... plenty of time yet. You can do everything with them though, one cool idea is thought of some sort of steering/throttle control for steering boat from upfront lol
  3. I thought I would update here engine is running sweet now. Main issue was what I didn't expect inside injector pump the rack was gunked up a bit and not sliding properly. Also redoing the valve clearances made a massive improvement on the engine much better sound and less smoke. So I am a happy man.
  4. I find reversing into berths easier than going forwards. Because as long as you get the back right and guide the back in the front usually comes with. You do need to find what way your boat wants to turn naturally then go from there; so figure out if your facing into the marina or as if you are heading out before performing the reverse.
  5. So I hooked up seperate tank gravity fed and for a moment I thought it was sorted but unfortunately its not. Once engine warmed up the problem started again. I can't figure out whats causing it
  6. I didn't say put before inverter I mean an extra one before inverter. I have 2 on my boat one before and one after. I got shore supply only stuff connected to one before and then when I cruise I rely on the other one. Hope that makes sense.

  10. Is there any harm in removing the silencer? I worry the inside of ours is getting coked up so a more simple exhaust would be better for us to clean it. Noise doesn't bother me... sort of hijacking your thread a little here sorry.
  11. Another symptom I should mention is it will sometimes be under load at about half revs then seem to drop to tickover speed. No matter how much I play with the throttle it doesn't pick up again until I take it out of gear then put it back into gear again.
  12. I don't think it will be that but I will check after I have tested with a temporary tank. One thing I am wondering though is what are the chances of it being something else unrelated to the fuel? I mean internally inside the engine not the injector pump...

  14. Thanks Mike. I can do that sounds a good plan. Should I rig it up after the lift pump then as it will be gravity fed?
