I have also had major issues with Aintree boats. Bought a new sail away in June 2023. Still waiting for the engine to be fitted. They took my money a year ago but they just fob you off if you do manage to speak to them. They just don’t answer the phone or reply to emails. Don’t go there
I can only say we are very happy with our Aintree widebeam. First stage payment made about 2 weeks before the first lockdown so weeks of wondering if we had lost our money but no. The build took longer than originally envisioned due to 2nd and 3rd lockdowns adding to the general shortage of parts, including the engine.
When we were sent the invoice for the engine I returned it and asked for it to be amended to add the engine serial number. That way I could speak periodically with Beta to check progress.
As for follow up after launch then yes, we've had some problems but they were all sorted and even now 3 years later I can email or text their trouble shooter and get an answer.
I'm not an Everton fan but it might help if you are!

I dip mine with water finding paste. Never had any in the propulsion tank but the internal generator tank had around 30 litres in due to poor installation of the filler. Removed by Pela pump.

Mine doesn't have an inspection hatch. As the OP says, one downside of any external hatch is that it may actually increase the risk of leaks and water getting into the tank which sort of defeats the purpose of a installing a maintenance hatch in the first place.
Ours is on an internal tank. I have to lift a floorboards to access it.

Can I ask how often do you use the inspection hatch
Maybe twice a year to check for water and level.
-
We don't have a hatch on the propulsion tank but we do on the generator one as the fill pipe is offset.
Our hatch is about 10" x 5" with 2 hinges on one edge with the other secured by 2 M10 countersunk screws with a nitrile rubber seal under.

OK until it goes wrong. I believe special training is mandatory to buy or hire a proper Hilti gun.
I used one when I was 16 back in 1963 putting up a mezzanine floor at Dads garage. Rented one myself to do the same thing in late 70s when I selected the wrong power cartridge. The nail penetrated into the Ladies toilet. No training back then.

Besides the usual sticks and stones a half empty can of Coke on the B & F. It missed me and landed on the roof.

You have put the edge connectors onto the PCB properly. From memory there is one connector that is easy to misplace.
To check for problems with pump or docking station remove cassette, put finger tip over the hole in the vacuum tit (centre top) and press the micro switch in. The pump should run for a few seconds and stop.
The other source of problems in the docking station are the non return valves that sit in the pump chamber. They can get bits of effluent stuck behind them.
I assume that the bowl retains water.

Wetvac and a length of plastic pipe.

You won’t be the first or the last. Happens every few days when it’s moderately busy. The other issue is that local CRT can’t reset it and CRT guys from somewhere near the Weaver have to come out!
In our case it was a problem with the boat. The main board in our Multiplus had developed a fault.

I think the charge was introduced because of the electric so until they upgrade the electricity supply I think it’ll be free. The infrastructure for the electric isn’t really up to boats having washing machines etc so is prone to tripping so at some point they will presumably upgrade it. Salthouse Dock is still one of the best moorings in the country without question despite all the comedians comments on here!
Last time we were there plugged in the shoreline and promptly blew the trip on the pillar. Reset and tried again and took out the bloody big fuse in the cabinet onshore. Took out half the pontoon.

This one has been there for several years. Originally for the rubbish boat I think then used by the Bicycle Boat.

You could look at underlay for Luxury Vinyl flooring. That used under our Karndean was self adhesive on the upper side.

We had a dormant Nationwide account with around £100 in it. I received a statement which showed a deposit of £19 from someone called WPA that I'd never heard of. It took over 2 months to eventually refund the money. WPA are a health insurers.
When we ran a business it was not unusual to get extra in a delivery or be paid twice. It was always a hassle trying to get another company to admit they'd made a mistake.
Conversely we had deliveries where items were missing. Again, suppliers often doubted my word which really pissed me off.

Looks like this company could make an adaptor for you.

Our toilet has started making a rattling sound for a few seconds on occasions after the finger is taken off the flush button. Difficult to diagnose as you can't press the button with the cassette removed.
The 'wiring diagram' in the manual is next to useless but the parts diagram gives a bit more info. We have the control panel which houses the switch and 3 LEDs, a flush valve and a vacuum breaker. The rattling noise is probably the flush valve and it is relatively easy to replace, although expensive. Not sure where the vacuum breaker is but perhaps if faulty could be holding the valve open. Or maybe the control panel is faulty sending a partial voltage to the valve causing it to chatter.
Anyone else had this problem or any thought or is it diagnosis by substitution.

You will need to take it send it to the original seller, in this case Samsung. So email them and ask them where to take/send it.

Does it work OK ?
The direction of flow 'arrow' shows you are actually filling from the wrong end.
Works perfectly.

What is wrong with people.
I now carry one in my pocket, but make sure I dont leave it on the tap.
I can understand forgetting after filling the water tank, but not from the elsan hose, which was then left on the ground, nice.

My first ever huge reverse was going back to the services at Calveley to retrieve the one i'd forgotten
I thought they were only fitted on Elsan taps.

Watching it. Feels like it's made for kids, schools maybe, patronising commentary and a woman expert who both looks and sounds like Philomena Cunk...
Reminded me of those books that were popular a few years ago.
