  1. Looks like this company could make an adaptor for you. https://fabco.uk/product/swaging-expanding/
  2. Our toilet has started making a rattling sound for a few seconds on occasions after the finger is taken off the flush button. Difficult to diagnose as you can't press the button with the cassette removed. The 'wiring diagram' in the manual is next to useless but the parts diagram gives a bit more info. We have the control panel which houses the switch and 3 LEDs, a flush valve and a vacuum breaker. The rattling noise is probably the flush valve and it is relatively easy to replace, although expensive. Not sure where the vacuum breaker is but perhaps if faulty could be holding the valve open. Or maybe the control panel is faulty sending a partial voltage to the valve causing it to chatter. Anyone else had this problem or any thought or is it diagnosis by substitution. c263cs.pdf
  3. You could try here. https://samsungrepair.com/mobile-workshops?utm_source=adwords&gad_source=1&gclid=CjwKCAjwnv-vBhBdEiwABCYQA3mwN_BcaBKB-3rWoygTiCjSJSsU7PKt7110x8-oZYSnLR1Gg4zvZRoCRmsQAvD_BwE
  4. You will need to take it send it to the original seller, in this case Samsung. So email them and ask them where to take/send it.
  5. In answer to OP, no. Just opened first bag of a new delivery and as good as ever.
  6. Works perfectly. I thought they were only fitted on Elsan taps.
  7. Reminded me of those books that were popular a few years ago. Canals for Dummies.
  8. Realised as soon as I pressed the button and altered it.
  9. Current flow upstream at Offord on Great Ouse. It has been so high it was outside the range of the measuring device.
  10. I was only thinking yesterday how much the Ashton has changed, for the better over the 16 years since Joanie M was launched in Worsley. The extension if the tram system is, to some extent responsible for this but not solely. The Eithiad Stadium and the Sports Centre opposite, the large Asda, the Velodrome, the Man City training ground, the Police Training Centre, have all changed the canal for the better. In my opinion.

  12. Yes. 4 pubs in GMC, all with real ale.
  13. In the past but I'm in Huntingdon now on the River Great Ouse on a widebeam so not likely to get there sgain. Whilst there's a pub directly opposite our mooring, it's a generic Greene King with OKish beer and appears on the Caskfinder app. The only pub within easy distance is the Wetherspoons. The Falcon with up to 15 real ales available doesn't appear. The King of The Belgium's which is GBG listed doesn't appear.
  14. Only assume that this area is some sort of black hole. Just tried Caskfinder and doesn't list half the pubs here that are Cask Marque. I'll stick to the Good Beer Guide for now.
  15. Just downloaded the Android version but pretty useless. Out of the 15 or so pubs in Huntingdon that sell real ale only one, Wetherspoons, is listed. Out of about 10 in St. Ives it only lists 2, one of which is a beer shop, not a pub.
  16. Environment Agency licence. And you will need EA Abloy key.
  17. Thanks, I well aware of the problems with the multiplug and had already suggested the owner look at them.
  18. Plus the electricity charge or included?
  19. But I would expect the alternator to self excite when revved and it doesn't. Domestic voltmeter shows definitely not charging. Pouring with rain here so will have to wait before I start looking.
  20. My neighbours Beta 75, about 17 years old with twin alternators, has stopped charging the domestic batteries. It has the C type control panel but with LEDs rather than normal warning lamps. The domestic LED doesn't illuminate either with ignition on or if engine running. It still doesn't charge if the engine speed is increased so I'm assuming an alternator fault. However before I start looking as it probably a rats nest of wiring how is the alternator charge circuit arranged?
  21. Here at Hartford Marina we have several floating 'lodges', some purpose built, some caravans on pontoons. 2 years ago they gave notice to one of the caravans. She had a Certificate of Lawful Occupation? which gave her residential status. She took them to court and won, the judge ruling that the regulations re caravan sites applied. The marina retaliated by increasing their mooring fees well above inflation.
  22. Does the actual marina not belong to the City Council or Urban Splash? If you are a member of NABO or RBOA they could possibly help. But does sound typical if a lot of marina management. According to their website they only have residential and visitor moorings.
  23. Having been up and down the 9 many times, first in 1981, it is definitely a unique experience with every lock offering something different.

When moved onto Great Ouse I asked EA to register the boat in both our names. They can't do that apparently but did enter Js name on the records as joint owner.
