Hi all, I'm hoping that some of you wonderful people will be able to help me out. I'm a student at the University of Lincoln and for my 3rd year project I am developing an application for mobile devices to help people to navigate through the tidal river Trent. The aim of the project is to create an app that can overlay navigation charts onto a GPS map to alert users of upcoming hazards. The app may also include features such as tide times and other potentially useful functionality. The reason I'm posting this is to get some thoughts on the project from the type of people who might use it so I was hoping you could let me know such things as: What do you think of the project idea? What features would you want it to include? Would it make you more confident navigating the river?
