  1. Thank you all for your input and sorry for the late update. I found the issue. The batteries were low and since it was a few months I did not turn the engine, the fuel was not getting through. A little extra juice required to help the batteries and a bit of easy start spray, et voilà !
  2. Thank you Tony. It's getting dark an unfortunately I have bad lighting with me. I will have a go at it tomorrow morning.
  3. It's an electric fuel pump who has always made this ticking noise. I have a plety of diesel. Very little smoke coming out now (it was a lot more when I first tried it). https://streamable.com/anmeeg Could I "un-jam" the pump valve?
  4. Hi, I have not started my boat in a few months (3 or so) and I am now unable to kick start it. I have oil, diesel, batteries. I have tried multiple times, maybe too many times because at some point the engine was barely reacting Here is a video of an attempt. https://streamable.com/kpwjjw
  5. Thank you all. I have followed the"curve" of the cable and it guided me to the first connection. It seems to work well.
  6. O have found it, thanks! There are 2 connections on the brass item. Is it important where I connect it?
  7. Thanks, I see it and checked it but I do not see a cable connected to the brass item nor do I see a loose cable? What am I missing?
  8. Hi all, As per title, I must have disconnected it inadvertently but I am not sure where to reconnect it! Could someone please guide me? Thanks
  9. Thanks for the reply. How would the lack of electricity create the machine gun sound?
  10. Hi all, My engine won't start and it makes a peculiar noise when I try to start it. I'm hoping someone can recognise that noise (at the very end)! Thanks. 20191117_171722.mp4
  11. The baterries are new (from december) and I meant RCR. I have talked to other boaters and I hear plenty of negative stories. Is is worth having a membership with them?
  12. So, the same engineer came and ended up bleeding the engine. Looks like he didn"t tighten everything he should have the last time around . The engine seems fine now. No water in the tank it seems. That's one problem down, 99 to go :/ I'm still keen on getting a new engine and gearbox as I think it will pay off in the future. My next pressing issue is my electric system. Again , I keep losing power. When I lose power and turn the engine on, i have full power on the boat. I turn off the engine, I lose all of it again. I switch off all systems for a while and when I switch on I have full power again. A quick question, what do you think of CRR? Any bad experiences? A thank you for all the good advice so far.
  13. I keep losing power. The engine used to run strong but no power came out of the propellers. I have had a few engineers look at it and no one has been able to tell me what the issue is. We thought it might have been the gearbow and had an engineer look at it but he thought my gearbox is fine. Since his "visit", I lose power from the engine. It dies off within a few minutes. That has never happened before. I am now being advised that it is water in the tank. This would cost me a lot and even more if I have water in the engine. This looks like a money hole and I prefer to invest more and start afresh.
  14. Hey there I keep having issues with my engine to the point I am considering removing it and installing a new one, second hand preferably. How much would it cost me and who should I contact. I am based in London.

  16. Hi all Busy day yesterday! I got some help from Henrik (MotoHen - 07973416622) as I had more than an issue to sort out. The engine was indeed bleeding and Henrik was patient enough to show me how to prevent this from happening in the future. Again, thank you all for your input.
  17. Any engineer who could have a look at it? I am in London Hackney Wick area, next to Victoria park?
  18. It's getting too dark for me to be effective. Thanks you all and speak to you in the morning
  19. I have first changed the fuel filter (Fram C1191PL) and then did an oil change.I assumed I screwed up the oil change since it was the first time I did it. And yes, the video was taken after I changed the oil.
  20. It doesn't sound like it"s drowning anymore. Should I insist?
  21. More likely than the oil change!! Air in the fuel lines failure to bleed the system?? How to get rid of the air?
  22. It sounds like it's drowning...? Should I insist or am I damaging the engine? Video coming next It sounds like it's drowning...? Should I insist or am I damaging the engine? Video coming next Could it be the fuel filter I have changed?
