  1. In the UK they tend to offer Dandruff kisses instead.
  2. OMG yer I get in me dad's car and I feel like am in a Bugati Veyron... lol No I've seen the noisy bugger on YouTube. Bloody disgusting Mike..... (no need for that)
  3. Peter I am not surprised. Your the noisy git butted up to my rear fender last week then. Pfffft. Cough cough cough !!@!
  4. No it's my safety zone, I would be horrified out of it. Lol 'Sanctuary'
  5. Sounds bloody good to me Mr B. Just town it down after 12pm, or I'll run my air cooled lister at your back doors. Lol
  6. Thanks you, fellow mud pluggers
  7. I think I am a hermit. I have more confidence on the canal. Sanctuary where i know people.
  8. Living on the Canal with social mixing difficulties for the last few years I have come to a point where walking on roads is quite difficult and scary with cars and wagons passing so close, it's like I live in another world away from people. It's relief to get back on the muddy tow path. (Back to safety) I never use to talk to people before I got on the canal but now it's like two worlds when I walk on the roads. I ignore them because they might hurt me. Weird post I know...
  9. OMG are you an undertaker ? Your post comes across a a slow doomy walk. Lol
  10. Bragging rights rather than fish's wellbeing, most? Are very respectable and look after their catch with a good attitude. Each fish should be held by hand so they float the right way up before releasing. I see so many just weigh the keep net and tip them out. No care !
  11. All i ever expected was hull thickness readings from our full survey. Wiring/water pipes and gas piping would need a complete strip down of a boat. A full out of water survey is only an opinion, that the boat might be afloat next week. Saying that a basic hull survey something I would always do just for thickness insurance testing. 4mm. < I think. Edit to add: who the bloody he'll knows where the tester places the steel thickness tester misses the ROT HOLE.? blimey... Night night puts my life jacket over my PJ's. Lol
  12. This never was an anti Fisher people rant but more a nag at careless Fisher people. I know many that use the right gear but some don't. I don't like seeing 19lb Pike being picked up in the air and drooping onto concrete because they could not be bothered carrying a landing net. As I said I am just having a go a the piss takers not the respectable anglers. Guess it's like owning a boat, the piss takers show us all up.
  13. I use to struggle with blowback so I bought a brush. :-/
  14. Just go for the length you need. Don't worry about the length its a doddle after one or two trips out. Enjoy....
  15. Don't give me ideas Murf. Chop their willys off and use them as bait.
  16. This is very scary omg bring in 'BIN'' Boat Identification Register for inland water's.. Like a registration document.
  17. My bloody water bump still burps all n8ght, too complicated for me. 1 RIP the floors up in search of a weep 2 their's no drips under the calorifier. 3 turn the domestic water pump off and pretend my boats dry. Life's too short.
  18. As the title reads, just fish with Respect to everything on the canal especially wildlife. I am fed up of seeing geese with fishing wire around their necks and my dog chewing on it on the side of the tow path. This is not an anti fishing rant I get on with many that I know but just take home what you bring. It's horrid to see a geese choking. Please.
  19. Just to add, Beta engine's are renowned for week alternator mounting brackets/fixing points check all your bolts are tight.
  20. Sorry OP I thought it was an up coming bare knuckle fight! Sugar !
  21. From landline reading exactly 14.7volts, flickering red light (leasure side). On first start up and cruising at 1200rmp. Revs up to 1500rpm no flickering. For my boat I think it was just damp only because it's fine when theirs no fog or super wet weather. I have a stern cruiser with boards/engine open to the elements. I guess it might be moisture within the alternator. (Only a guess)

  23. My beta 38 did that but after running for a week it turn out to be damp within the alternator And the flashing light stopped.
