  1. hi neil i have had a boat half a boat made by laurie lavender and i am have to take him to court and i can honestly say he is a very bent business man if you could let me no were the shell is being build it would be helpfull he used a john white boat builder on mine . check him and his business partner on company house.

  3. hi joe this entry was not as clear as i would have liked partly due to sticky keys on the key board . the boat fitter bailed on me due to the shell builder . the boat builder/shell is john white boats a bit of a head arch at the moment but i am hopping he will come good. i will try to post some pictures does any one have a good fitter with preferred own land and polly tunnel or shed. the boat is in liverpool and i am north east london based so some were in-between would be good .

  5. i think the stern shaft connects to the engine shaft and if this was faulty for some reason it could have been putting a lot of vibrations throw the gear box and crank shaft . but it could be fine or have had an engine rebuild witch would explain the price having looked at apollo duck they do bump the prices up a bit as to be expected by a dealer. other reasons for the price increase would be stainless steel tanks alternative heating diesel or gas a lot of high quality batteries and a good inverter like a sterling 1800w pure sine wave or the overall quality of inside and out.

I have had a steel boat built .The person who was fitting the windows and engine and who gave me the person who as done the steel works as pulled out of doing this work saying that the sides of the boat are to straight .need to be carved and the cabin to small.It does not look wrong to me ,but i been told they are craved because of the bridges.My worry is theres something else wrong that he's not telling me.Do all boat companies have to have recreational craft directive declaration of conformity and what are the key points and does this devalue my boat if i don,t have one. Need help please as i,m novice
