  1. I know. Will do. So glad I joined this forum.
  2. Great link Ray! Thank you it was exactly what I was looking for! Thanks Richard!
  3. Hi Mike, It was the Historic Boat Festival in Tamworth. A group of us sang songs like 'They'll be miles and miles of poly on the blade',and other songs that were changed like 'Teddy Bears Pinic' to fit in with boating. It was fun and funny if somewhat tongue in cheek. One person has book on them with the lyrics but not the tunes to go with them. I would love to learn the lyrics so that I can take part next time. Thanks for the link!
  4. Hi there, does any one have a link to Canal Song Book? I recently went to a festival and had a great time singing traditional (and not so traditional) songs in the evening and would like to learn some lyrics so I am better prepared next time.
  5. Hi Mike, I believe the mudbox filter remains unblocked and therefore the overheating problem persists. The raw water leaves via the exhaust and the water just dribbles out. I didn't think to check the impeller as I have just fitted a new one. I will check it at the very next opportunity. Thanks so much! Thanks! Will do.
  6. Thank you everyone for all your help. The filter coming out of the mud box was blocked. The problem has been temporarily fixed but I took her out on the cut at the weekend and the problem came back. So back to the drawing board so to speak and go through a process of elimination. Happy boating everyone!
  7. Thanks for your comprehensive advice Tony! Will definately give it all a try.
  8. Thank you everyone for your help and advice. I will try everything possible and let you know how I get on. Thank you for the warm welcome to the forum too!
  9. Thanks Richard. I will try to check it out. If it is an air lock how do I fix that?
  10. Thanks Mike! I didn't reduce the speed, I just turned it off to be on the safe side. I will try that out too and get back to you. Thanks!
  11. Hi Catweasel, the mud box was my first port of call. It was reasonably OK, just stones which I have now cleared. I will try the coolant cap. Thanks everyone for your help! I'm new to forums so not sure how to reply to individuals so please bear with me!
  12. Thanks Mike! I started her steady and she was fine, however when I put her on full throtle the warning came pretty much instantly. I think it is a raw water pump impeller but I will check the coolant tonight.
  13. It is indirectly cooled and has an exchange heating system too. I have just bought it and it hasn't been on the cut since April so it was her first run in a long time.
  14. I have a Volvo Penta D1 engine that is overheating. Does anyone have any suggestions as to what might be causing this? I have changed the impeller but it is still showing a warning sign when I put it on full throtle. Thanks!
