  2. Hi Richard, hope you are both well. Which video do you need a link to. Barrow sinking or pillings. Wife was last seen doing backstroke towards Cossington.🙃
  3. Scary, it was over the towpath here at Harris in syston about a foot deep, my poor labrador was almost swimming .
  4. Pillings lock was 24cm higher than its highest level in 1998. It was very tasty on the Soar, that's for sure.
  5. It's been interesting on our bit of the Soar this week, that's for sure.
  6. You are probably correct, time will tell, it does look a nice boat in all fairness.
  7. I have no idea, but sensibly priced boats don't stay up for sale very long.
  8. Agree, boats priced correctly don't hang around for long.
  9. Can't disagree with that, we are always glad to be south of the mile straight.
  10. As a native of Leicester, the city itself is fine with good shops, bars and restaurants, but have to agree about the rubbish in the water, the section between the national space centre and frog Island is pretty grim to be fair.
  11. Always had good service from Bimble solar, 4 panels, controller , cable and connectors delivered promptly and intact at a great price.
  12. My brackets are fitted to the centre point both sides of each panel, had to put them there due to the curve of the roof, the downside is there is a slight rocking of the panels when it is excessively windy so didn't want to risk it.
  13. my 4 panels are attached with brackets but I still put a rope over each one and tied them down.
  14. I believe ours will run unless a red warning is issued.
  15. If that sting jet materialises then the damage will be massive, let's not forget, this is all going to be happening during the working day, very scary indeed.
  16. our boatyard charges £39.99
  17. That is how I did it, the flue doesn't touch the collar until it exits the boat, the gap is filled with fire rope, as I said the collar stays cold regardless of how hot the flue gets.
  18. This is how I fitted my flue, the actual flue at the top is hot to the touch, but the collar is cold as is the wood around it.
