  1. I did something similar a year ago. I found that it is very important to keep the stabilised power supply well away from the router. Mine was a couple of feet away & is now over 12 fet away, because otherwise it just interferes with my radio which is near the router.
  2. Light the Epping range, close the doors behind, slide the hatch back & stand on the footboard steering with your legs warm & dry & alovely bubble of warm air sising up inside your poncho. If the footboard, etc gets wet, the stove will dry it out.
  3. Looks great. How does it work? Do you pull it down with a cord from the helm, does it then go back up when you release the cord or what ?
  4. Good thinking, or maybe the lever longer & the same weight ?
  5. Hi Peter, I like the concept, I think the balance weight is more elegant & would be more reliable than a spring that could be affected by heat. Just wondering how your design has worked out in practice, whether you have evolved it further or are even marketing it now ? Regards, Chas
