  1. I have a set of 4 of these on our Princess 32, very good value for money and lightning fast delivery http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/281627468304 J
  2. http://www.cathedralmarina.co.uk/brokerage/details.aspx?boatID=196 Just upgraded from an atlanta 24 to a Princess 32 Very capable boat and will be missed, just need a bit more room now with the twins!
  3. Me too, that's why I would like to do away with them and have a fully automate system
  4. Ok guys, some good comments there, and some slightly of topic as well Just for a bit more clarification, I have a Princess 32 motorboat, it has 2 x GMC 6.2litre v8's with a 70A alternator on each engine At present I am not happy with the battery setup, it has 3 x 110aH batteries all connected seperatly over 2 (1/2/both/off) rotary switchs. What I am looking for is a solution so I can have 2 x 110aH batteries as my starter batteries and another bank of domestic batteries. Now I have seen this http://sterling-power.com/products/volt-drop-alternator-splitting-system-pro-split-r?variant=882767643 but I don't know if there are any better options out there? Hope this adds a bit of clarity to the proceedings?
  5. HI Guys, I am currently looking at rewiring my 12v. What is the best way to wire up 2 alternators from 2 separate engines to charge my batteries. I am looking for a system that will fully charge the starter battery bank before charging the domestics and I would like to make the most of the 2 70A alternators Thanks in advance
  6. Hi Gazza, that's brilliant, thanks! We actually live in Downham Market, but have never bought the boat down here! Looks like thats a plan for this weekend sorted then .
  7. Thinking of having a look down here later today or tomorrow but can't seem to find any information about it? Most importantly being is it a tidal passage? We only have a small 15hp outboard on the cruiser so don't want to be getting into bother! Thanks in advance for any advice information!
  8. 2 x 10 metres mooring + 12m centre made 32 metres when I were a lad
  9. Hi guys, thanks. Richard, it seems worth the extra few quid to me that they are ready made / spliced
  10. What are people opinions on these ropes please? http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/COMPLETE-SET-OF-3-X-14MM-ROPES-FOR-CANAL-NARROW-BOATS-IN-ASSORTED-COLOURS-/281077986249?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_3&hash=item41718db3c9 Need some new ones to bring back a 45ft Cruiser Stern from Alvechurch to Earith Thanks in advance James
  11. Surely that means an interested party has gone to the expense of getting a survey done, and then walked away from the boat???
  12. Well, if the fridge has been moved outside then it obviously needs a lock on it to stop the beer being nicked. Seeing as the fridge is now outside you can put the roof back on the boat , silly!
  13. Take the roof off the boat for better airflow
