Ok guys, some good comments there, and some slightly of topic as well Just for a bit more clarification, I have a Princess 32 motorboat, it has 2 x GMC 6.2litre v8's with a 70A alternator on each engine At present I am not happy with the battery setup, it has 3 x 110aH batteries all connected seperatly over 2 (1/2/both/off) rotary switchs. What I am looking for is a solution so I can have 2 x 110aH batteries as my starter batteries and another bank of domestic batteries. Now I have seen this http://sterling-power.com/products/volt-drop-alternator-splitting-system-pro-split-r?variant=882767643 but I don't know if there are any better options out there? Hope this adds a bit of clarity to the proceedings?

HI Guys, I am currently looking at rewiring my 12v. What is the best way to wire up 2 alternators from 2 separate engines to charge my batteries. I am looking for a system that will fully charge the starter battery bank before charging the domestics and I would like to make the most of the 2 70A alternators Thanks in advance

Thinking of having a look down here later today or tomorrow but can't seem to find any information about it? Most importantly being is it a tidal passage? We only have a small 15hp outboard on the cruiser so don't want to be getting into bother! Thanks in advance for any advice information!

Well, if the fridge has been moved outside then it obviously needs a lock on it to stop the beer being nicked. Seeing as the fridge is now outside you can put the roof back on the boat , silly!

Take the roof off the boat for better airflow
