  1. we, the wife and I, was with him at the 2010 Brunston show, and then he was with a bad back, was talking about going to spain to live,, was having problems then moving his boat around and looked to share trips on the union with friends,,seen the boat for sale now, looks good still,, hope he's ok,,,
  2. seems john took his boat of the stratfoed canal last year,, went there to look for him lowsonford,, but he gone, seems he was back down south last year to sell the boat,,where I not know, pity he loved his boat,, but not herd anything since,, seems he's got a bad back and needs to give it up,,,not seen the baot for sale anywhere....

  4. Yes, it's a winding hole ok, I turn my 70 footer there ok and lots turn there to save going up the locks
  5. Today, on the Worcester Birmingham canal, Ashwood locks open and 2 boats up

Can remamaber, a few years ago, this boat (Lyra) passing along Worcester Birmingham canal and getting to top lock, Ashwood flight, it was on it's way to Sual junction, never made it through the top lock, dispite BW staff spending 2 days trying. In the end the boat reversed back to John Pinders , and they used 2 cranes to lift it out, at the old salt works, and took it by road to Sual.it was just to wide to get in the lock, must be middle age spead..
  7. We have a pull out bed under the front deck, storage under the bed, made the bed to pull out on it's own wooden legs, had a 4'-6" matress on it, works wonders, tucks away in the day time, and front ladders out througth the front doors in the day, bags of storage under....

  9. I run a Gardner 3LW and it is straight through, sounds very nice and not very loud, run it for hours never seems to be a problem, and can talk on the back ok, even hear the birds.
  10. go back to phil and ask him to make a steel slid hatch, that should upset him,, we had ours of steel,, we won, most have not.

  16. well hi, terry here, r.w.davis same as yours , so the same problem,,, seen a few small machines , but not sure they up to it, but house hold machines not realy for this job, lots of water we got,,,,,terry
  17. not sure on price, depends what the wife likes the best, just the 2 of use on the boat,,,, same as you not need to use loads of power
  18. can you guys help me, which washing machine is best for a nb boat, and type etc, have 3KV and good water supply, should it be just cold water supply or what, and where to go for it,,, many thanks guys....

  20. It's on the left side, towpath side before the bridge going south towards worcester, outside the craft shop.
  21. We used to wrap copper pipe around the exhaust of the air cooled listers for hot water years ago.
  22. nice engine,,, just wrap a R.W.davis boat around it...
