I know that feeling ange. Buying a boat has coat me a few quid lol. Thankfully I have a full time job and have quiet a few days day each months. So I can have a couple of weeks away here and there. And congrats dog house. Hope all goes well.
Is love to live near donnington. Oh wait if I moor at sawley I will lol. And I think its important to have a variety of interest. Or you become a boring person.
Just wondered which is best. The boat I'm buying already has one of the funky looking aerials you see on a caravan on it. Would it be worth replacing it with a dish?
Hi Phil how long have you been in sawley? Still negotiating with the mooring office at sawley at mo. They wanted £3015 pa for residential mooring. And that's with a 10% discount lol. Don't mind paying £280 a month. See what they say. Cause I like the environment there.
Ok looks simple. So do you tie that not to the boat or the mooring post.
I'm going to be in a marina most of the time lol so don't think I'll need an anchor there lol
It's at sawley on the river Trent. Not confirmed yet. So yeah its a tidal river. The pontoons are fixed. They have rings that raise with the water level. Which they say you should moor to. Especially since sawley as a habit of flooding. As for tying tight. I would like to be able to untie it lol.
Lol well the dry dock is at sawley marina. Priced up the bitumen for it and that comes to £170, brushes and rollers £5ish. Wirebrush again £5ish. Oh and overalls lol.
