If you mean a CRT license, your mooring managers should be able to advise you if it is compulsory for your berth as different moorings / Marinas have got different requirements.

Better than off the self ones but not overly impressed (to me).

I am boater and proud. Those around me know it and respect me (some even envy me - the nice way -). The only place I found classes is actually within the boat community. It's a paradox, yes.

Ha! Some witty comment that is. I agree. Housing in London can be a problem and some found an answer in boating. Fair enough. I don't believe there has to be any form of philosophy behind boating to be able to live on a boat and everybody should be equally welcome. However, I believe some basic knowledge of the rules and respect for fellow canal and river users should be implemented but this is a problem sometimes found also in users that claim to be "interested in boating" too.

Sure it is, sorry. I suggest u look for more pictures of what can be achieved on a boat though.

I use Ecover too as yeah, "in theory" they make more environmentally friendly products than the average makes. One thing to be said though, I normally need to use more quantity of Ecover than another leading brands to achieve the same results. This is happens specially with the washing up liquid.
