The Stoker

Thanks to everyone who replied.

Anyone out there able to help? We recently purchased Narrow Boat called "The Stoker" which was built buy Stoke Boat Builders. On the day we left the marina where we purchased it,a person told us that he had read an article about the boat in a magazine. The boat was launched in May 1999, so would believe the article to be published after this date. Is there anyone out there who might at least know what copy this article appeared in . Thanks for that answer, now can anyone tell me what the oil change interval in hrs should be. I know oil is cheap compared to an engine rebuild, but there seems to be varying opinions between 100 and 300 hrs.

We are due to collect our new boat next week, which has a Gardner 2L2. I have been doing quite a bit of research about 2L2's but the one thing I can't find is what quantity of oil the engine sump holds. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks in advance.
