  2. hi Pete same paint as your epifanes it's supposed to have the highest uv protection time will tell will sort you some pictures

Well this is our last Friday in the caravan as next Friday will be our first night on our boat yea , boat was sign written yesterday by rob naghi at cherilton narrowboats where it has been fitted out and painted by cherilton narrowboats ak graham ford to say I am made up with the fit out paint job and sing writing is a massive under statement

  8. Have a steripen traveler uv water purifier just make a couple of ltrs a day takes 5 minuets

  11. Pete Kendal is a Tyler Wilson shell give them a ring I am sure he will tell you as I am sure Kendal went to Cumbria narrow boats with them fitted hope this helps

Thanks Pete that's nice coming from a owner of a stunning boat, we went for the quartz tops as they are low maintenance as we had solid wood work tops in our house and it was a on going thing to keep the looking good , the port holes are very nice we went to procast to look at them and Brian the owner showed us how they are made ( cast ) and when you see the work involved they don't seem that expensive , I have had some port hole liners made of brass then chromed by the same company ( Nottingham platers ) who procast use and they look stunning can't wait to see them fitted , when I am on my way up north I will call in and see you if that's ok as I would love to see your boat
  13. Sent my application in for new boat licence on the 28th August received text to say application had been accepted on the 30th received licence on the 1st September how's that for a service well done C&RT

Well it's finely here 3 more weeks to our boat being launched , after living on our daughters drive in a caravan for 8 months it nearly here our dream is about to come true after 2 years planing our boat is nearly ready , can't explain how we feel nervous excited rolled into one, boat is a XR&D 58ft semi trad reverse lay out Barrus shire 45 engine 150 gearbox all port holes , fit out by cherilton narrow boats ak graham ford of shardlow solid oak through out , can only say good things about graham he has done every thing we have asked of him and more.   19. The blue plastic is just the tap the actual drain valve is metal the drain valve on the racor looks like it is plastic , does the racor conforms to ISO 10080 ? and meets the BSS 2.12.3/R requirements ?
  20. Does it conforms to ISO 10088 and meets the BSS 2.12.3/R requirements ? Looking at it I would say no as it has a plastic drain of screw just my thoughts might be wrong
  21. Fuel guard on both tanks same engine as Neil Barrus shire 45 fuel guard meet all the safety regs and has a life time element
