Hi tony wonder if you could help me , I have a bank of 6 x 6v Trojans 7 years old , I have checked the specific gravity of them as I thought they where not charging right, I need to take 2 off as there is one that is bad first cell is showing 1280 acid is dirty,second cell is not on the scale ,third cell is 1850 all when 100% with victron bm & smart gauge , checked them to day victron bm showing 72.6% smart gauge showing 60% cell one 1350 acid is dirty cell 2 not on the scale 3 cell 1250 , I know I have to take 2 off , all the battery leads on battery 6 need to go on battery 4 which is not a problem for me to do , I am just struggling with battery lead ( I have numbered it number 4 please see attached picture ) am I thinking
Right that I can do away with it ?

Some of the cables and connections are obscured so I can't work out what is going where but I think it looks unconventional but OK.
Cable 4 is the parallel negative link between the left hand pair and the middle pair. if this is removed at least one pair of 6V batteries will not receive a charge or supply any electricity.
I think the parallel positive links snake across the batteries but one connection is hidden by a grey pipe.
I note that you are taking supplies from all over the place. This will not help cell longevity but don't worry about that for now because it will not make that much difference.
