  1. lol, I know it was CRT, i was just saying about the time restraints on hedge cutting that I know the farmer had
  2. I remember when i lived in bricks, the farmer had to cut his hedges before March and he was only allowed to cut certain ones every other year. He would alternate the ones around the fields.
  3. On the subject of coal - we use Supertherm, bought from the same place each time we buy. I have been complaining to hubby that this bag is not giving out any heat, burning well, but no heat. I am just getting to the bottom of this bag and will be opening a new bag very shortly so am hoping that the next bag is back to normal. I have noticed that this bag is giving out a lot of ash/dust/clinker and is slightly red so am assuming that this bag contains quite a bit of brick in the coal. Fingers crossed the next bag is better as my feet are freezing edited to add, i too have an ecofan and i think it makes a difference, dont know why but it does

    Dad.

My sincere condolences to you and your family. It sounds like you and your dad created some special times for you to remember. I, too, no longer now have my dad around to share life with but I do know, that to have some great times to think about and to remember, will stay with you forever.
  10. I have seen your posts and have read what your story is. I also don't need to read page 3 again. And I don't need to see who is or not a nice man. I don't know PL, and I don't want to either and neither do I care what happens to him. I don't know JLillie and again, I don't want to. I understand that many people have suffered through their associations with Pillings Marina , I UNDERSTAND ALL THAT so I am not sure why you are pointing out your issues to me. I didn't say you were not a nice person. In fact, I didn't even mention you. My post on this forum was saying that I felt JLillie was revelling and coming across as not very nice. AND yes, I agree with you, Best wishes to all the good people customers at PLM.
  11. I have read all of the thread, and your comments.
  12. Serious speculation? exactly . American? George W Bush? says it all
  13. No, not at all, and I agree, whilst I might have been taking action or making decisions by now, who knows why people are still there. But they all have their own reasons. Whatever those reasons, that's their choice. I still don't like people who seem to be enjoying the unfortunate situation for these people.
  14. This may be funny to you but there are people who have paid good money to these people and their lives are being affected. I don't know who you are and quite honestly I am not interested but this issue has more important issues than your joking at others expense.
  15. I don't think you are a very nice person. For all you may have had issues with members of your family, and I have no interests here in you, who was actually involved in Pillings, for all you might say that you were innocent, or others involved in Pillings either but I do feel for the boaters caught up in this mess. I get the feeling that you are revelling in this and that is not nice at all.
  16. I think they also said that they were struggling against the wind too.
  17. LOL, no, Mike's right, Google translator is handy.
  18. how I so wish we could have a series about true boating, different canals, different locks and how they work, what its like cruising through cities (and mooring there) , emptying toilets, all the real stuff. its not all green scenery and laughing at bumping off other boats (cant believe that guy just waved ).
  19. ouens ignoreer, was 'n goeie post en 'n bietjie pret
  20. I agree , if the post is not what you want to see, go on to the next one.
  21. wouldn't be funny for the houses on the water front either I wouldn't have thought dependant where on the VM's they are
  22. This may seem like a silly question , but why are cills not sloped? that way boats would not be able to 'sit' on them and get stuck. it may be that I am missing something really important so forgive me if I have had a blondy sort of moment
  23. I can see 4 long snakes in the water
  24. Thankyou. Very concrete ish, but am sure that it has its attraction.
