  1. Having bought a boat, we have drained the water tank, stripped out the sink, shower and bathroom sink and are now preparing to decorate and fit new kitchen and new bathroom.

we have had the opportunity of a new mooring.

We want to move the boat but will need to cap off the water pipes. Do we need to fill the water tank? do we need to ensure the calorifier is full ?  We havent turned the engine over since winterising.

It might seem like a bit of a stupid question, just a bit concerned about turning the engine on and doing damage to the calorifier
