  13. I have been on the Bridgewater 4 days and have had a knock on the boat twice in 2 different locations, Lymm+ Moore village. I intended to go to the weaver for 2 weeks then return to Wigan. I was told by the enforcement officer No return within 1 month so I would need a 7 day licence at £40 or get a £200 fine. Think it might be Because I have solar panels and look like a live aboard ;-)
  14. The enforcement officer told me 7 day permits have always been available but they are now giving 1 month licences as well, that should say selling lol
  15. moored over night in Lymm last night, got a knock on the boat this morning from the enforcement officer explaining the rules. Gave me the number of the licence officer and explained that 1 week and 1 month licences are available, just give them a call. The boat moored in front of me had an enforcement notice fastened to it as it was breaking the rules.Felt like big brother is watching you as I intended to move on today but he said I can have 3 days here as he had agreed that with a cruising club moored on the 48hr moorings. Pity this canal is not run by CaRT
  16. There was at least 1 near Parbold on the L+L canal for a number of years but have not seen any this last year :-(
  17. Looked a good idea till I saw not to be used indoor or near flammable materials as it can cause fires
