  2. Some solar would have been good as well as a 600cc diesel generator, it was so energy dependent a drive engine was never going to be enough
  3. I remember Whitefield sitting at new and used boat company when I bought my widebeam, had a look around her she really needed to be electric with lifepo4s and a generator to make her work properly.
  4. Same on our moorings most livaboards are there due to divorce or failed relationships, both sexes.
  5. True fat fingers on a phone. We really enjoy going out with our campervan, often its only 16 miles to a pub opposite chatsworth estate, good walk around the estate nice meal in the pub and come back home. Nice Saturday and Sunday

  10. Do they move? If so as long as they are causing obstruction of the highway they aren't doing anything wrong as long as the vehicles are road legal. Cornwall recently had to explain its actions with a freedom of information request on campervans second time of asking they eventually provided the required information. Afterwards a series of prosecutions had to be reversed. We park on roads etc using various apps we have never been asked to move on. We use lots of very cheap car parks as long as we are allowed.

  18. 12 foot deep where we are for the tanker, the motor is 92% efficient and it's a curtis controller which can be up to 95% efficient, so don't know as mine is an older controller known to be very robust but probably less efficient? His new motor is better as its brushless and hopefully more efficient also the controller is built for that motor fingers crossed It's got a LSD as well big wheels and tyres but still very unpleasant.
  19. Alex a mate of mine has a late mini with a metro turbo on it, it's a 1380 engine so its putting out way more than the metro, its not a pleasant drive a lot of torque steering like the Maestro and Montego turbos
  20. 57 x 12 27 tons when last weighed when putting in the water, it will have increased as it was ballasted and other fitting out, so maybe 30 tons plus full of diesel and water.
  21. We are also the 4th largest population in the world surprisingly
  22. I do know that at 3mph whis my normal cruising speed in deep and broad waters 3.3 kws is enough
  23. It's why I stretched mine, Johnathan built it originally and he stretched it, the stretch actually made the swim better in his opinion
