so what as all this got to do with people dumping rubbish .and i will still say most of it comes from boaters ...i have seen it first hand..instance small boaters fridge in the canal .which by the way still had food in ...one place i pulled in to moor as one boat was moving off where upon 4 bags of rubbish was left ...went after said boat ...oh i forgot to pick it up .over the years i am sure most boaters have seen things floating in the cut ...that could have only come of a boater .

so i am a boater .and i dont leave any rubbish ...yer ok ...all sort of people leave rubbish in places it should not be left .i dont know about manholes tho ..lol .but i am sure someone is to blame lol

tosh ..comment and that applies to virtually all the boaters you know ...what about the ones you dont know ...like you i am a boater and have been for 15 years or more ...and unlike you seen things you have not ...maybe ...

you would be amazed of what boaters get up too. concerning rubbish .if its not boaters rubbish ..i would bet half of it is .and like you bewilderd i just can not get my head around why people do this.

hi wondering if anyone could help ...last summer i was on the the shroppie where i got chatting to this this guy ..abt 2 way vhf radios . who just happened to deal in them ...very nice chap as it went ..he gave me is card and number ..and you have guested i have mislaid it ...does any one know of him ..kind regards

my fella is in the family roofing game .and in all the years he has been doing this. not once has any job ever been late upon starting when a starting date is given ...weather permitting ...unlike a boat yard we booked in ..having been promised this and that. 6 week job took 12 months. i surpose it did not help paying upfront ..and thats a no no .not all boat yards are a law to them selfs but i suggest most are agreed mike

well said dave ...i wish i could find a loophole to dive in lol come april i will start cruising .and will do so till the end of oct .if not november ...but in the mean time i will still have to pay for my moorings and my c/t .and thats the way it is ....ccs dont pay c/t and thats the way that is ..and so it should be .to my way of thinking ..some people are envious of the cc.s me included .they the cc.s are not getting away with anything ...

helmits on .i have a reso mooring .i pay c/t .i also agree with lulufish .i have also stayed in marinas as a live aboard and i have never had a problem with staying on the boat .i am also aware there are marinas that do have little rules that must be upheld ...but i would think there is a commador with is hat on calling the odds , or a chairman who thinks he is running the imf ...instead of a marina ...i have no wish to fall out with anyone .on this subject .thats my thoughts on this for whats it worth ...and as for grammer dyslexia does not help

i had the same problem .i was told not to except updates so i dont ...and it works fine ...maybe not the done thing ..but i only use it for emails i dont bank facebook or any of the other things ...

purple8 you seem to have it all sorted ..i can understand your concerns .we hear so many storys .you must do this you must do that ...what you must do is enjoy your new life onboard ...

i think you will find leisure mooring at lots of marinas.that may suit your needs purple 8 ...i had a leisure moorings for over 10 years and never had a problem ...but i have reso morrings now ...which means i have counsel tax to pay ..not ideal ..but it works for me .but not every one ..enjoy your boat ..good luck with it all ...
